Delta Crown is a hair extension studio exclusively focused on professional hair extensions, tailored maintenance and styling. Our membership program, the Crown Society, gives members access to regular, premium care, from extension maintenance to color and blowouts, on a schedule and budget that works for them.  What is the Crown Standard?  The Crown Standard is our in-house certification program that every stylist completes before working with guests.  It covers installation technique, color matching, hair health, and client consultation, and it’s the reason you can book with any member of our team and walk out with the same exceptional result. What makes Delta Crown hair different? Not all human hair performs the same. Ours is selected by denier, the measurement of a single strand’s thickness, and by cuticle strength, the two factors that determine how hair moves, blends, and takes color. It’s then produced in small batches and put through a 34-step quality control process at our partner’s European Center of Excellence in Salzburg, Austria, a facility powered by rainwater and solar energy.  What type of hair extensions does Delta Crown use? Every set of extensions we install features our exclusive private label hair. After extensive and rigorous testing, we identified the best resource and partner to develop our own line to meet our standards for seamless blends, long-lasting wear, and beautiful results.   Is Delta Crown hair ethically sourced? Yes. Every strand is 100% human hair, collected in ponytail form. Our partner has spent over 50 years working with the same vetted suppliers, and those facilities are independently audited by SGS, the world’s leading certification firm, for safe working conditions and ethical labor practices.  Does Delta Crown offer same-day appointments? We like to accommodate same-day extension appointments when we can. The best way to check availability is to contact your nearest Delta Crown studio directly.  Does Delta Crown accept tips? No, and that’s intentional.  Delta Crown is a gratuity-free studio. We believe it’s our responsibility to properly compensate our stylists for doing excellent work, not our guests. The price you see on our website is the price you pay, full stop.  What is the Crown Society? Crown Society is Delta Crown’s exclusive hair extension membership program. It was designed for the guest who wants their extensions maintained, their schedule respected, and their beauty budget under control.  Members pay one predictable monthly amount that covers their maintenance appointments, with no tipping and no surprise costs.  How does the Crown Society membership work? Membership is available at different tiers depending on your extension type and volume. Each tier includes one automatic monthly payment that covers all your extension maintenance as well as new hair costs. Your stylist will walk you through the membership options that make sense for your hair during your consultation.  Can I cancel my Crown Society membership? To cancel your Crown Society membership, simply call or email your chosen location. The cancellation policy is 30 days for membership and 24 hours for appointments.  Will hair extensions damage my hair? Not when they’re done correctly. During your consultation, we’ll recommend the extension method that’s best suited to your hair type, lifestyle, and goals. With professional installation, routine maintenance, and proper at-home care, many of our guests actually grow healthier, longer natural hair while wearing extensions. Like any beauty service, the results depend on both the expertise of your stylist and how well you care for your hair between appointments. Improper installation, choosing the wrong extension method, skipping recommended maintenance appointments, or not following the at-home care instructions provided by your stylist can lead to damage. That’s exactly why every Delta Crown stylist completes our Crown Standard Certification. Combined with our personalized maintenance plan and education, you can feel confident knowing your natural hair is in experienced hands.  Will my extensions be noticeable? Not if we have anything to say about it. Your stylist will place your extensions well away from your hairline so you can wear your hair up, down, or any way you like without worry.  We’ll also walk you through styling tips at your appointment to keep everything looking seamless.  Staying on top of regular maintenance is the single best thing you can do to keep them looking natural as they grow out.  Are hair extensions uncomfortable? Most guests don’t notice them at all after the first day or two. The adjustment period, if there is one, tends to be the first couple of nights sleeping with extensions, which is a new sensation, not painful, and most women are completely used to it by night two. In very rare cases, about 1 in 100, guests with extremely sensitive scalps may not be ideal candidates. A simple test: wear a few bobby pins a quarter inch from your scalp for a full day. If you experience significant irritation or pain, it’s worth discussing with your stylist at your consultation.  Are hair extensions expensive? Hair extensions are a luxury service, and we believe in being upfront about that.  Your initial installation cost is higher than maintenance because it includes your hair, which is 100% human, remy, and ethically sourced. With proper care, this hair lasts a remarkably long time – with typical members replacing hair every six to eight months. All of our pricing is published on our website. Crown Society membership was also designed specifically to make ongoing maintenance as affordable and predictable as possible.  Will it be hard to take care of my extensions? Our motto: treat your extensions like your own hair, but better. In practice, that means: Sulfate-, wax-, and paraben-free products (we’ll recommend our favorites) Regular brushing Gentle washing and styling with heat protection Avoiding saltwater and chlorine when possible Your stylist will walk you through everything at your appointment. It’s one of their favorite parts of the job.  What extension methods does Delta Crown offer? Delta Crown offers premium weft and fusion extensions.  During your consultation, your stylist will recommend the method that best suits your hair type, lifestyle, and goals.  What happens at my consultation? Your first visit is a consultation, and it’s the most important appointment we’ll have together. You’ll fill out a brief hair questionnaire when you arrive, then sit down with your stylist face-to-face.  They’ll get to know your hair, your lifestyle, and what you’re hoping to achieve, then give you honest recommendations on method, color, length, and pricing. You’ll leave with a clear plan and no unanswered questions.  How should I arrive for my consultation? A few things that will make your consultation as useful as possible: Arrive with clean hair in its natural state if you can, so no blowouts or heat styling. This lets us see your true color, density, and texture. If you always wear your hair styled a certain way, arrive that way instead. Have a general sense of your beauty budget. All pricing is on our website ahead of time. Bring your questions. All of them. That’s exactly what the consultation is for.  Is a deposit required? Yes. Once you’re ready to move forward after your consultation, a deposit is required to hold your transformation appointment and order your hair.  Your deposit is applied toward your total service cost. You’ll also sign a Hair Extension Care & Client Liability Waiver with the full cost clearly laid out before anything is finalized.  I’m planning a color change before getting extensions. Does the timing matter? It does, and we’re glad you’re thinking about it. We match your extensions to your hair color, not the other way around.  Whatever color you arrive with at your consultation is the color we’ll order your extensions in. If a big color change is on your horizon, get it done before your consultation.  Not sure how to sequence everything? Ask your stylist. We’re happy to help you plan. Do I need to book a consultation before getting extensions? Yes and we mean that in the best possible way. The consultation is the most important step in getting extensions right. It’s how we get to know your hair, recommend the right method, match your color, and make sure you leave your installation day absolutely loving your hair. Skipping it wouldn’t serve you well, and we wouldn’t do it.
