Weft Hair Extensions

Salon-before-after-05 Salon-before-after-07

Delta Crown’s most popular method, and for good reason.

Weft extensions use a curtain of hair carefully adhered to your natural hair using comfortable beads. The result is veil-like coverage you can wear up or down, with minimal visibility and maximum impact. Whether you’re adding volume, length, or both, wefts are the most versatile method we offer.

Who it's for

Fine to thick hair needing volume, length, or coverage. Great for guests who want to wear their hair up and down interchangeably.

What's included

Every weft install includes a shampoo, blowout, blending, and finishing style. Maintenance plans available through Crown Society membership.

Starting at $875

Fusion Hair Extensions

Salon-before-after-09 Salon-before-after-11

Individual strands, seamlessly blended.

Fusion extensions use a specialized tool to fuse individual keratin-tipped strands to your natural hair in small sections. The keratin bond blends almost invisibly, making this one of the most natural-looking methods available. Because Fusions are fully replaced rather than reinstalled, they’re ideal for guests who love the idea of a fresh set of hair several times a year.

Who it's for

Recommended for guests who want a low-maintenance option with a seamless, natural finish. Works well across a range of hair types and densities.

What's included

Every Fusion install includes a shampoo, blowout, blending, and finishing style. Removal is complimentary for Crown Society members.

Starting at $875

What is the difference between weft and fusion extensions?

The main differences are in application method, maintenance schedule, and how they feel in the hair.

  • Wefts use a curtain of hair adhered in rows with beads, making it a versatile, popular method that works across most hair types and can be moved up as your hair grows.
  • Fusions use individual keratin-fused strands that bond almost invisibly to your natural hair, providing a seamless finish with a different maintenance rhythm, since Fusions are fully replaced rather than reinstalled.

Your stylist will help you weigh both options at your consultation.

Yes, with some planning. Switching from one method to another requires a full removal of your current extensions followed by a new install.

Your stylist will assess your natural hair at that point and confirm it’s ready for the new method.

It’s worth discussing at your next appointment rather than waiting until the day. That way the transition can be scheduled properly.

It depends on the method and how well they’re maintained.

  • Weft extensions typically require a lift every six to eight weeks and a full reinstall every few months.
  • Fusions are fully replaced every three to four months.
  • Clip-ins have no fixed lifespan since they’re removed daily. With proper care, they can last considerably longer.

Your stylist will give you a realistic maintenance timeline for your chosen method at your consultation.

Color services at Delta Crown are designed specifically for extension clients, so yes you can color your hair after getting them, but with some important considerations.

We offer refinement, regrowth, and transformation color sessions that work around your extensions rather than compromising them.

What we don’t recommend is aggressive chemical processing after an install, as it can affect both your natural hair and the extensions themselves.

Your stylist will advise on the right color approach for your hair at your appointment.
